Model Railroading > Custom Painted Bowser SD40-2 5726

Currently working on a Bowser unit CP SD40-2 5726 that was strip of it paint because of major upgrades that I wanted to do to the model. The below is the unit that was repainted again with Rapido CP pro-paint, which I would highly recommend. The model will be equip with LED's such has step and deck lights, cab light and lighted console and independent number boards. Air will replace the air tanks with with Detailswest and also will be added under body details, Also included will be Detailswest brake brackets and new air hose's and mu hose's replace the coupler pocket with the Detailswest part will try to much the model close to the photo. The model will come equip with Loksound new file of the CN SD40-2W. Also the model is equip with Cannon and Company fans and exhaust hatch and Plano fan hatch. The model is only 85 percent done

That's some great modeling. I'm interested in how you added the DW buffer and installed the couplers (I'm hoping to do this to my Bowser models eventually). Did you just cut the Bowser coupler boxes back so they are flush with the back of the pilot face? Thanks for sharing this project!
