The screwdriver that I first picked up for Phillips-head is always a flat-head.

Actually that one has been around a long time in England. It's called "Sod's law" according to my British born and raised wife!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sod%27s_law

"While Murphy's law says that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong (eventually), Sod's law requires that it always goes wrong with the worst possible outcome."

How about the following two?

Your premonition that the blade of jeweler's saw is likely to break soon will be sure to won.

Even if you predict the cause of non-movable locomotive, it will definitely come off.

I am not a native-speaker, so forgive me for poor English.

Murphy's Law for Telephone Jacks and Electric Outlets,
they're always behind the largest piece of furniture in the room.

There's a legend that Murphy's Law was coined by an Air Force engineer named Edward Murphy at Edwards AFB (Then Muroc) in the late 1940s.
I heard the story from Murphy's sister, who lived in Bakersfield.
Check that unimpeachable(!) source Wikipedia.

Continuing on with the outlet/plug subject, the socket behind the heaviest piece of furniture will always be bass ackwards when you try to plug a polarized plug in it.
