It's called "Sod's law" according to my British born and raised wife! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sod%27s_law "While Murphy's law says that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong (eventually), Sod's law requires that it always goes wrong with the worst possible outcome." they're always behind the largest piece of furniture in the room. Date: 08/25/17 22:15 Re: How about the following two? Author: MojaveBill There's a legend that Murphy's Law was coined by an Air Force engineer named Edward Murphy at Edwards AFB (Then Muroc) in the late 1940s.
I heard the story from Murphy's sister, who lived in Bakersfield. Check that unimpeachable(!) source Wikipedia. Bill Deaver Tehachapi, CA Date: 08/26/17 10:55 Re: I found a new Murphy's Law! Author: RustyRayls Never believed in "Murph's Law"! I subscribe to "Clancy's Law"
