Model Railroading > Scaletrains CSX SD40-3

 Here's my Scaletrains" SD40-3 on a grain train. It has lite weathering applied to the body, trucks, fuel tank, etc.. In these photos it's not showing up as much as I'd like------it could be my cheap camera, club layout lighting or maybe it just needs more lighter shades of weathering? Who knows?? The locomotive itself is top-notch and runs great. I replaced the plastic factory-installed mirrors with metal ones which I feel is an improvement.

Good job brother. I can just see the light misting of wet mud, brake dust and "tie juice". Those cabs though... Idk if I'll ever jump on the bandwagon.

Looks good to me... These things can appear well kept or dirty as dirty can be and they are only a few years old for the most part...

Photos of inside the cab-weathering, i.e. empty water bottles, caps, fusees rolling around, maybe an ETD on the floor along with a to-the-brim full trash bag?
