60 foot high-cube boxcars

A couple of 60 foot high-cubes will wait until the GTW road switcher moves them along.

 Beautiful weathering (as usual). The fading and rusting on the DT&I boxcar is especially nice!!

I'm a fan of auto parts boxcars, although for late 70's, mine won't need to be rusty.

Beautiful stuff Jimmies.Might want to get some gons into the scrap yard.Looks like they are gettin a little backed up.

There's an empty gondola visible in the first photo.  That scrap metal yard will easily hold 3 65 foot gondolas, and sees quite regular service from the GTW, but the piles of ferrous metals never seem to get any smaller.

That bodes well for the job security of whichever job switches the scrap yard :)

Not if they go out of business because they're not shipping. You don't make money on stuff that is sitting in the yard.
Scrapyards are like railroad yards. A full one is a sure sign of trouble. (And less expensive to model.)
