Today at Randall Museum Model Railroad in San Francisco.

Two new Athearn Gensis Geeps could not handle 20 car up the grade which was disappointing  so
had to add Rapidio RS11.

Note different SP side lettering on 5629 and 5678, both look good.

Regards, Jim Evans

For the uninformed (such as myself), what is the grade?

Nice Black Widow models otherwise (unless they are a little light)!

Two Genesis geeps would pull a 20 car train up a 1.8% grade?  This is disappointing.  I had a garage layout at one time and 2 Atlas GP7's could pull 20 cars up a 2.5% grade, barely.
