A Colorful Switching Exercise
Author: railstiesballast

Today's day city switch job had quite a colorful collection of cars to pull and spot, just the random result of the various car routing cards.
This is at Pat Yard on my SWP, now trying to represent 2001.  I know the SW 1500s had lost most of their lights by 2001 but I enjoyed seeing pairs of them like this hustle around the SP.
The UP would probably assign an SD40 or even an SD-70 during the meltdown, no telling.

Thanks for sharing!

I especially like your clouds you painted on your background mural.

I don't know how deep that scene is but it sure looks good, great work!

Cool scene and it looks like a creative use of a fairly narrow space to give it depth.

Alto-cumulus clouds……great attention to detail! This scene is very pleasing to the eye.

Yes, great scene. Really like the SP box. Pairs of "cruds" like that used to be everywhere in the LA basin.

I love this scene.  The baackground is very artful and captures many of the elements from the mind's eye and reality.  As aprevious poster said: It is very pleasing to the eye.  Great job.

I agree with everyone else. Love the SW1500's as they were all over the Eastbay also.
