The Los Angeles Model Railroad Society (LAMRS) has lost its lease and will be moving out after 36 years! The last Open House at our Hawthorne location will be on Saturday June 26th, from 10:00 am to 4 pm. We will also be having a Swap Meet. We have plenty of model railroad items (mostly HO, but some Lionel items), excess equipment and furnishings, that we will be selling at reasonable prices.

After that we will be packing up and storing important items. The existing layout will be dismantled. We hope to build a new layout at a future location that we have yet to identify.

So, join us as we celebrate the end of a 36-year run at the Hawthorne location and stay tuned for an announcement when we find a new location!

Note: Please wear a mask if you have not been vaccinated. We are located on the second floor. There is no elevator access.
