What is the best method for safely removing decals without damaging any of the underlying paint - thanks for any advice.

Decals: I use "drafting tape" and give it a quick pull. Now, pad printed lettering is another story.....

If its a micro scale decal, use micro sol.

Of course if the decals to be removed have been overcoated with Glosscote or Dullcote you may be screwed.

Even sealed a piece of tape will almost always lift a decal off.

Puddled some Solvaset on top of the decals for about 5 minutes & then easily lifted them off with a small brush with no damage to the underlying paint scheme.  Worked like a charm.  Decals were not yet sealed with dullcoat.
