Author: mpe383 I am about to tackle the DPM N-scale Woods Furniture kit and wondered if anyone had any tips / tricks to make the build go smoothly. Normally, I search the web and can find some feedback from modelers who have tackled kits and identified issues with the instructions, moldings, etc but I haven’t found any feedback on the Woods Furniture kit.

When Model Railroader did the Milwaukee Beer Line project layout years ago, Andy Sperandeo did the freight house using a lot of the DPM modular pieces. He included a few hints in his article about how to get straight, smooth joints. The way he did the roof was interesting as well. You should be able to find the article with a bit of a search, I'll leave that to you. Post photos of your project as you go, good luck! |
