Commuter operation in the desert

Caught the High Desert commuter train carefully drifting by the fire crew finishing up a working grass fire....

Great job.  Flashing lights on fire truck, interior lighting of the cars are extra special.

Really nice work on the emergency lights. Just one comment. In California, the two things required on an emergency vehice is a siren and solid burning red light to the front. All flashing lights are auxiliary but the solid is required. So on your light bar or grill you need a non flashing red. Great scene though.

Signal system was out of service probably due to the fire in the area.... Crew was talked by the signal by the employee in charge, @ restricted speed, looking out for people and equipment.... ;)

Not too much of a stretch, could easily pass for the Palmdale-Lancaster section of Metrolink's Antelope Valley operations.

Except for the fire engine which would be red.
