Model Railroading > 50 Shades of Rock Island GrimeDate: 08/03/22 14:18 50 Shades of Rock Island Grime Author: Atomicpunk Well....not really 50 shades but, pretty close. Here's a few Rock Island units I added a few detail parts and weathered. The GP35s are Walthers Proto and U33B is an Atlas. I didn't like the extra long drop-step which came on the GP35s and I wanted to replace them. I couldn't find the proper Detail Associates step. I also realized I would have to do some carving on the frame and decided to live with the factory steps. I used Bragdon weathering powder for the dust, grime and exhaust.
Thanks for looking. Mike Date: 08/03/22 14:20 Re: 50 Shades of Rock Island Grime Author: Atomicpunk Date: 08/03/22 14:25 Re: 50 Shades of Rock Island Grime Author: Txtrainman60 VERY nice!

It doesn't smudge or get fingerprints if I touch the model. I still make a point of not handling them too much. Mike Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 08/03/22 20:41 by Atomicpunk.
