Custom Rapido Amtrak F40 Cab Lighting

Working on the cab lights base off of a photo, using a old damaged Rapido shell to do some testing before I put it in the actual 2 F40 that I am working on. I know the lights are bright but once I get them in the actual units they will be dim down.

Should put some heavy yellow film over the LED to dim the light and correct the color. Most of the time the cab light is off unless reading some paperwork. Not sure why the engineer would have it on during daylight.

Applying a coat or two of Tamiya's Clear Orange acrylic to the LED will also warm up the color to the proper color temperature.
