AFAIK, only Bowser and Genesis make F9A's for the higher end market. IIRC, Tyco, LIkeLike and Bachmann have made an F9A as well, but more toy-like.

I thought Bowser had their executive line which were upgraded from and more details vs the old Stewart F's. Athearn Genesis did F9's - I've got the Rio Grande Zephyr F9's from Athearn Genesis. The spotting difference between the late F7's and F9's is that the front portal on the sides has split louvers on both sides. Internally the F7 had 1500 horse power and the F9 had 1750 horse power.
