Passenger Trains > Amtrak 29, 49, 30, 48 affected by NS derailmentDate: 12/09/05 13:42 Amtrak 29, 49, 30, 48 affected by NS derailment Author: toledopatch On account of an NS coal train derailment near Rolling Prairie, Ind., already late-running Amtraks 29 and 49 terminated at South Bend today. The equipment from the two trains is to be sent east as one movement to Toledo, where it will be used to originate trains 30 and 48 tonight. Happy busing, everyone, and expect Nos. 30 and 48 to be late on Saturday....

By what the amtrak ahgent told me was that there was a major derailment and that the 30 and 48 would orginate right here in toledo. this i was looking for as my dad wants to know.
