Passenger Trains > Chicago ORD to Union Station

Is there any public transportation between O'Hare and Union Station? Thanks for any information.

Take the CTA blue line from O'Hare to Clinton Station. Walk 1/2 mile to Union Station.

Clinton station is only 2 blocks from Union Station.....about 1000 feet, or 1/5 of a mile, I believe.

Oh yeah, that's why when I'm in Cali by train I really apreciate the bus service and in LA, that 3.00 All day fare on the MTA!

Walk 0.1 mile NE from O'HARE AIRPORT to O'HARE CTA (BLUE - O'HARE)
Take CTA BLUE LINE TRAIN (BLUE LINE - SOUTHBOUND)

Walk 0.3 mile NE to UNION STATION

Regular Fare: Senior/Disabled Fare:
$ 2.00 $ 0.85

If its raining,you can walk part of the way in the parking structure, the goes direct into Union Station.

Is the Clinton Station what I knew as the C&NW station back in the 50's? I think it is now also known as the Oglevie Transportation Center.

Careful - there are two Clinton Stations.

The elevated one is on the green and pink lines, and is near Ogilvie Transportation Center, the subway L station is on the blue line and is near Union Station.

No, that would be north of Union and is still used by commuter trains.

Clinton is south.

Just did the same thing last year, from ORD to Union Station. Works fine. How much a walk ( inside the terminal buildings ) you have from the gate to the CTA platforms depends on which airline you fly. Blew past traffic crawling on I90/94...only to see the same cars re-pass us every time we made a station stop. Good way to see downtown Chicago, at least on the elevated parts. From Clinton St station to Union Sta is short, though for a first timer getting off at Clinton it took me awhile to get my bearings and figure out which WAY to walk towards Union Station.

The blue line from O'Hare enters this map area at the upper left under Milwaukee Ave. It runs under the Loop eastbound under Lake Street, southbound under Dearborn, and westbound under Congress. It is just about to emerge into the median of the Eisenhower Expressway at the Clinton station. Union Station will be to your right when facing forward in the train arriving at Clinton.

As noted by others, do not confuse the blue line subway station at Clinton with the green/pink line elevated Clinton station west of the north end of the Loop.
