Its raining outside in southern New Jersey so I presume it is raining near Washington DC. Don't you folks know that trains CANNOT run in the rain?

I just checked MARC website and they have
an announcement that trees are blocking
tracks at Washington Grove. 1-2 hrs estimated
time to remove the trees.

that one track has been cleared
and that MARC trains are moving

I moved to South Jersey about 40 years ago and when I took the train from Lindenwald to AC I was able to look out of the train windows and see the surrounding countryside.

When I trained to AC last week all I could see, was the full foliage of monster trees that blocked any view of that countryside.

If railroads do not start cutting back the trees that border their rights of way. there are going to be a lot more of these trees on the tracks.

transferring from this train to
the Capitol will have a long wait

29 just left Martinsburg with the first 2 marcs right behind each other approaching station.

Talk about a mess, and MP16, don't you ever find out the reasons for the train delays for cryin' out loud?

29 arrived in Pittsburgh at 2:40am and a grand time was had by all!
