Passenger Trains > UP Coast Rail work update-Pac Surfliner

This is an update.



For the work that will be conducted on Between San Luis Obispo & Santa Barbara

I just some information from the Van Nuys Agent.

This is mainly to Trains 774, 775, 798 & 799


* Train 774 January 9 to 13, January 23 to 31 & February 9 to 13
* Train 775 January 8 to 12, January 22 to 30 & February 8 to 12 (note different dates)

* Train 798 January 9 to 13, January 23 to 31 & February 9 to 13
* Train 799 January 9 to 13, January 23 to 31 & February 9 to 13

These dates. The trains mentioned will only operate to Goleta.
Bus service will make the trip between SBA & SLO.
And Lompoc/Surf and Guadalupe will not have any service.

And on these dates. Only the Coast Starlight will be allowed operate through.

I am sure. this will be updated again in time. And I am sure. Jaanfo and some others on here.

Well, the soonest I'll get to LA again will be next Tuesday, so nothing from me before then. Thanks for doing the research.

Update for the Bus connections.

The San Joaquin
Thruway Bus #3612 will be replace with Bus #3614.

Normally #3612 is the thruway from Bakersfield to Barstow and
Las Vegas.

So Basically. San Joaquin Train #714 will be come the train connection at Martinez.
Thats only if the Southbound Train #11 isn't too late.

The San Jose-Santa Cruz Bus.

The connection to Santa Cruz from San Jose. Will lose the connection from Train 14.
The Salinas-Monterey connections have been changed two hours later.

And As Jaanfo and others had mentioned in an earlier posting.

The new Thruway To San Diego will be Bus #3611
