Here's a couple shots of the special equipment move today. The first one is at Otter Creek (La Salle, MI) on their way down to Toledo and the subsequent shots show both sides of the wreck damaged P42.

If nobody noticed, or if this has not yet been mentioned, a second car was left behind after the
February 2012 grade crossing crash that caused this carnage. It was Amfleet café/business class
car 48197. Deemed too badly damaged to be worth transport and repair, it was sold for scrap and
cut up on site.

Two? locos for freight speed hospital train??

Or shall I give them a little slack and assume one of the locos is going to Grove anyway.

The trailing unit is there to take over when the lead unit
ultimately fails enroute!!!!!

I saw 128 on that flatbed when I was on 352 coming back from Chicago back in October. Will Amtrak repair it or will it be scrapped.
