Passenger Trains > Delay on Southwest Chief - #3Date: 08/18/13 13:45 Delay on Southwest Chief - #3 Author: pummer I see that the westbound Southwest Chief lost an hour and 12 minutes between Trinidad, CO and Raton, NM today. Could it have been because of freight train interference?!? :)

so while it could be motive power issues, there is no mountain grade on that piece of the sub Date: 08/18/13 22:12 Re: Delay on Southwest Chief - #3 Author: dan more rain maybe?

It appears that I am mistaken? Date: 08/19/13 11:20 Re: Delay on Southwest Chief - #3 Author: jmonier ATSF3751 Wrote:

I think that comment was "tongue-in-cheek". AFAIK, there are no freight movements. This was confirmed by our Amtrak crew on Sat (and by actual experience). |
