Passenger Trains > New Amtrak Timetable cover features Coast Starlight

Yesterday, while my brother and I waited in Pittsburgh for #29, I was surprised to see copies of the new Amtrak System Timetable, effective January 13, 2014. The cover features an Eric Smith painting showing the Coast Starlight stopped at San Luis Obispo.

I haven't had the time to review all of the schedules, but the few I scanned did not appear to have any significant changes.

Probably intentional: the engine number on the P42 shown leading the southbound
Starlight at San Luis Obispo is the same as the train number of the Southern Pacific
Daylight in the same physical direction (timetable eastbound): #98.

Yes, that is noted inside the timetable in a section titled "About the Cover."

Beautiful cover if you ask me, that's all I can say man!
