I want to say that was purchased from the Las Vegas monorail operation that began service using retired Disney World Monorail vehicles. They bought them from Disney.

The eBay listing says that shipping is free, and it will be shipped by (wait for it)... USPS Priority Mail.  They must have one the largest possible "if it fits, it ships" boxes.

It shouldn't be too hard too opperate, as "mono" means one, and "rail" means rail.  Thus conclude our exhaustive three week course.

Technically, they should call this type of transport a "monobeam".  Every now and then I have to explain to someone who has just been to the "Mouse Farm" a.k.a. "The Magic Kingdom" and is full of enthusiasm for these unconvential passenger trains, why they may  be appropriate for short-haul, closed loop applications but are not suitable for real-world transit operations.

One of my challenges:  This is the Howard Street terminal of the Chicago Elevated system.  Explain how you would duplicate it in "monorail" technology.

My son was project manager for a contractor doin work for Disneyland.  There was some demo involved, but Disney handled all the haul off.  They were very careful about what left the magic kingdom.
