What is the MBTA doing at Haverhill to keep locomotives warm overnight without running them at idle? Just wondering what the new technologies are.

As with all MBTA layover facilities, the locomotives are plugged in at night. If the temp is to stay below 40, they are left running.

I assume the same holds true for trains laying over at Newburyport
