Hoosier State in the Badger State
Author: robj

Walworth WI today on WSOR.
I am told this is Hoosier State future equipment(Iowa Pacific) headed to WSOR paint shop at Horicon Wisconsin. Not sure of routing but from Iowa Pacific in Elk Grove Village to Rondout to Janesville and then to Horicon.  Had to brave sub 40 degree temps and snow flurries.  Smile.

I rode those cars on MARC over 20 years ago. They ride very quiet and smooth.

I rode them 45 years ago with Penn Central and they were smooth and quiet.......they use to be sleeping cars - I think 22 roomettes per car?

Those aren't the same cars as in the inspection threads. Extra coaches?

The conversions did not include window relocaton as may be evident from the photos. As I recall, the seats line up with a either a window or a wall.

Have to wonder how IP will handle seat setups.
