Have a nice trip! Date: 09/24/16 12:10 Re: Take That, SouthWest! Author: irhoghead That is a fine burger that Amtrak has on its lunch menu, especially with cheese and bacon. Had four in the past week. Unfortunately, what Amtrak charges for their dining car meals, and the portions which seem to get smaller each year, isn't exactly peanuts, either. That burger is probably the best value on the whole menu, however.

We better keep this to ourselves or risk Hamburger-Gate II starring Congressman John Mica (R-FL). Date: 09/24/16 12:57 Re: Take That, SouthWest! A restaurant is a low-margin, risky business to begin with, diner cars have limited hours with a limited customer base, and we pay them more than federal min cash wage of $2.13/hour for tipped employees. |
