Passenger Trains > Vincent Grade/Acton, CA Metrolink StationDate: 12/03/16 22:39 Vincent Grade/Acton, CA Metrolink Station Author: TrackMap I finally had a chance to visit the new second platform at the Vincent Grade/Acton Station, which is a Metrolink stop on the Lancaster-Los Angeles Antelope Valley Line.
Photo 1 shows Los Angeles-bound Train 220 arriving; the new platform and one of three new shelters are in the background Photo 2 is taken in one of the new shelters looking back towards the original platform Photo 3 shows the new at-grade crossing that connects the two platforms. The project not only added the second platform, but straightened the siding track adjacent to the new platform, extended the siding railroad-east (towards Los Angeles) and added a new crossover. These photos were taken on Friday, December 2, which was a very windy, cold day. Gerard Highland, CA Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 12/03/16 22:40 by TrackMap.
