The poor passengers using Gare Lucien l'Allier (the former Windsor Station).  The trains have been out from beneath the old train shed for more than 40 years.  I'm not surprised that CP never built canopies to protect the commuters from the elements, cheap as they were toward the end of their passenger service, but I'm surprised that AMT hasn't sprung for platform canopies.  The passengers at the ex-CN Gare Centrale have it luxurious by comparison in their covered station.

Noise By-laws in communities adjacent to some of the overnight lay-over facilities do not permit testing of the horns before the first run in the morning....so an extra set “just in case”

And if they both fail?  I was always told that they had an extra set for emergency use only.

This is beginning to sound a lot like the joke about the statistician who always brings a bomb in his carry-on bag whenever he flies somewhere.

Do cab cars on the UTDC-style bi-levels and the "Comets" have 2 sets of horns ?
