Amtrak current paint scheme?

On the second photo, amazing by the way, it makes me think of what is Amtrak doing on paint schemes? I believe all of the new Viewliner II's are getting the 'phase III'. But what of other cars or even engines? Seems like nothing else is changing at the moment.

Amtrak has too little operational equipment for a lot of it to stand still for a fleetwide repaint, and if the past is any indication, a new Amtrak administration could mean a change of direction.  Downs, Warrington and Gunn all ordered changes from what came before.

Reminds me of the airlines; every time there's a new CEO he has to "mark" his territory with a new paint scheme.  They're no faster or less crowded. What a collossal waste of money.

Some of the dual mode locomotives in the 700 series used in the Empire Service have been painted in phase III. There was a suggestion that New York was paying for it. Except for the "heritage units" none of the P42DC's have been painted in another scheme. (Although some of them need repainting!)

Commuter rails too...don't think the new Siemens units or F125s are in the same paint scheme as the existing locomotives at any of the places they're going to.

The Cascades Chargers are in *roughly*, and that's very roughly, the same paint. At least the same colors.

I don't think there's any question that the 700-series units' paint is at least at New York's request, if not involving the state's money. The state is paying for a lot of the trains they haul in any case. And those engines are due for paint - many of those in "wave" paint look pretty rough.
