Siemens Charger at Rondout
Author: Mastadon

Amtrak test train 940 was returning from Milwaukee in a heavy downpour at Rondout on 4/19/2017. Siemens SC-44 Charger 4611 was getting a wet shakedown run on the C&M Subdivision.

I dont think I ever seen the Amfleet II Cars in a push-pull.

Are all of Amtrak's Cars able to handle Push-Pull Service?

There are some AmFleet style cars that are capable of push-pull operations. However, they are the old Metroliners and are in cab car configurations. I have not seen any of them out on the West Coast since the Surfliner Sets went into service. I also am not sure how many of them are even in services still but I think they are restricted to the NEC anymore.
