Stuck in a dark tunnel with no air nor lights with no ability to communicate is very stressful, especially when dealing with a bunch of boobs.

This STATE OF GOOD REPAIR issue, tracks out of service for maintenance,
and signal/switch issues at Swift, all conspired to cause cascading delays of
up to two hours into/out of Penn Station on Sunday.

Hmmmm ..... dual mode locomotive and neither mode was working apparently.

If the problem was with something other than its electricity source, the mode in use wouldn't matter.
