There is a wild fire burning near Doyle, CA. Referred to as the Long Valley Fire.

That might be the source of the smoke in Truckee.

I have first hand accounts from friends that the Detweiler fire near Mariposa (Yosemite) has been smoking out the Tahoe Valley and Truckee area for several days already. Long valley may add?
