On the afternoon of Saturday, October 28, 2017, AMTK 469 was spotted leading the northbound Cascades past CP Niqually on the Point Defiance line. In the not to distant future this train will begin taking the cutoff at CP Nisqually for a trip on the Prairie/American Lakes line
