Passenger Trains > Almost A Meet And A Bonus Train

I'm up in Rohnert Park this week for the Southern Pacific Historical & Technical Society convention, giving me an opportunity to check out some SMART trains.

Yesterday, I went down to Petaluma for the morning rush, hoping to capture a meet. The meet didn't go exactly as I had hoped, but I got both trains. The third train in this short video was a bonus catch on my way back to the hotel.

As for the convention, it's been great. It's a joint show with the NWP historical folks, and I've learned lots about the NWP's predecessor roads.

The highlight of the show, so far, was Wednesday's series of presentations by former Southern Pacific brass, followed by a panel discussion.
