Pacing the UP Siemens Special

Smart phone image stabilization is an awesome thing!

I don’t typically do videography as I’m more of a still photography kinda guy. However, I got this video of the special west of Watkins, CO yesterday on UP’s Limon Sub. The audio is nothing to write home about, but the video didn’t turn out half bad!

That might be true. Who knows what CSX is going to charge, though.

In the 70s or 80s, Amtrak delivered some F40s to MBTA from Illinois in Amtrak trains. Conrail complained that they were entitled to the revenue. Don't know the outcome.

Conrail threw red blocks in their face and the engines were removed once at least, pa's were moved to MK thou as far as Ogden
