Keeping The Peace

The slogan on their patrol cars says "keeping the peace since 1850."

Today, Santa Barbara County deputy sheriffs were keeping the peace in Carpinteria, where more passengers than there was room for hoped to board this Surfliner.

Those left behind were accommodated on the next train.
