Are the SEPTA ACS-64 Units in Service Yet?
Author: birdman

Are the SEPTA ACS-64 motors in regular service yet? If so, are they showing up on specific trains? If not, is there any indication when they will be in regular service?

Waiting on further crew training

The "tentative" date for the 901 to be in service is May 14...

How long before the 7 AEM-7's and the single ALP-44
are taken out of service? In other words, will one
be taken out of service for each ACS-64 that goes
into service?

And what will SEPTA do with the "extra" 5 (they placed
an order for 13). Will they sit until the bi-level
coaches arrive in - what?, late 2019?
