Amtrak 156 at Delhi wig-wag on SWC No. 3
Author: highgreengraphics

On July 6, Amtrak Heritage 156 leads the westbound No.3 Southwest Chief at high speed past the ancient wig-wag crossing signal at tiny isolated Delhi, CO on the endangered Raton Line. Installed in the 1940's, it is a Minneapolis-built Magnetic Flagman upper quadrant wig-wag, the last remaining wig-wag signal in Colorado, and the last one on a Class 1 railroad main line. === === = === JLH

Wow, now that's impressive, a real gem in today's modern railroading environment.
