Amtrak Northeast Regional Schedule and Service UpdateThursday, August 2, 2018 11:00 p.m ETAmtrak Northeast Regional service is operating on the following revised schedule on Friday, August 3 due to an Amtrak derailment.:·         Train 67 (02) is terminating in WAS·         Trains 66 (03) and 174 (03) are originating in WAS·         Trains 85 (03), 130 (03) and 151 (03) are cancelled·         Train 190 (03) will originate in NYP·         There will be no substitute bus transportation for trains 66 or 67·         Other services between Richmond and Washington are availableCustomers with reservations on trains that are being modified will typically be accommodated on trains with similar departure times or another day. Amtrak will gladly waive additional charges for customers looking to change their reservation during the modified schedule by calling our reservation center at 800-USA-RAIL.  Anyone planning to travel should check their train status on Amtrak.com or our smartphone apps prior to departing, allow extra time to get to the station and be extremely careful in stations and on platforms.Amtrak regrets any inconvenience.
