Passenger Trains > Amtrak Beech Grove facility dodges bullet (tornado)Date: 06/16/19 12:41 Amtrak Beech Grove facility dodges bullet (tornado) Author: stevelv Yesterday a tornado hit Beech Grove, IN. The video from the Indy Star shows heavy damage to the Alro Steel Co. I looked at the map and Alro is pretty close to the Amtrak shops. No reports of damage to Amtrak so they apparently escaped the tornado's ravages.
