Florida state senator Debbie Mayfield is back with new regulations for BrightLine.

Ms Mayfield has proposed state regulations in the past.

You are correct. Cocoa is on the mainland and the FEC runs through it. Cocoa Beach is on the barrier island and has no tracks, just the occasional genie bottle.

Thanks for confirming that.

Until recently, some people thought you would need a genie bottle to see this construction actually start.
