Passenger Trains > Bright sky over Brightlin... er, Virgin Trains USA

Today's 4:40pm soutbound train headed for Miami Central is about a half mile into its journey, passing MP 300 in West Palm Beach, Florida under a bright but turbulent sky.

It's been over a year since the announcement that Virgin Group took a minority interest in Brightline, owned by Fortress Investment Group (which also owns the railroad Brightline runs on, the FEC), and secured branding rights.  To date there has been no noticeable change in Brightline rolling stock or station signage besides the one Virgin sign at Miami Central.  Not sure what they're waiting for - maybe for the completion to Orlando, which is still a few years away.
