Coast Starlight Portland to Los Angeles

We shot 30 covered bridges in Oregon but was dropped off at an empty Portland Union Station and in the lounge ready to board my sleeping car this afternoon for the trip home.

I thought we were being encouraged to stay home for the next few days.  Apparently
the folks in and around the Portland Depot got the message.......

Difficult to get numbers as it passes my house but 11 did look pretty empty.

#11/#14 typically have 3 sleepers, a business class coach and 2 regular coaches or rear.

In January-February some trains carried only 2 sleepers

There was about 30 people on the train with only 2 eating in the diner. We were seated at tables by ourselves  with nothing but wrapped platic ware i=on the table, You ate by yourself,  Three of my meals I was the only one in the car eating.
