The 2nd edition of The Contemporary Diesel Spotter's Guide does not contain the Amtrak P42B yet, since it was printed in 1995. Can somebody tell me the main data of this locomotive, like weight, length, horsepower, max. speed etc. or guide me to a web site with this information ?

Here is the builder's sticker on Amtrak P42DC #1, which gives
you some of the vital statistics anyway. Externally, I suspect
the wheelbase and overall length are the same as the 800-series
Dash 8-40BP's.
