Last Daily #8 Empire Builder

Yesterday, October 20th,  I caught the  Empire  Builder, Amtrak 8 rolling east at Bangor, Wis on the CP's former Heavy Haul Division.  266 miles from CUS (Chicago Union Station).  This was the last daily Empire Builder   for now...  Tri weekly going forward.

I think the Empire Builder is going to hurt the most going to tri-weekly. This train was operating with descent passenger loads as late as this past week and weekend. Even last Thursday, this train was operating at about 70% load factor between MSP and Chicago.
