Author: RRBMail It has been a few years since I rode CalTrans' Amtrak/California's low-level "Horizon" trainset on the San Joaquin Valley route. Any TOs know what headend power is used now-a-day's? Author: KM-ML4000 The two Dash 8s, CDTX 2051/2052 are not PTC equipped, and both have mechanical issues that would prevent them from being used on revenue trains.
