Passenger Trains > Like Rocky says, "That Trick Never Works... "

This time I managed to capture #'s 5 and 6 not passing at Gorge (Donner Pass), but I was pretty close- off by maybe 90 sec. 
We're enjoying a Summer storm day here on Donner- lightning/thunder and a bit of rain.  
Sure smells nice!

Incredible, as usual.  We're getting the full thunderstorm treatment over here in Reno, and frankly we can use the cooler weather and the precipitation.  Buckle up for this weekend and beyond, temps are going straight up.  If we're at 100 here in Reno at 4500', what are you typically in Dutch Flat?  Stay safe up there.

Nice clouds!  They were not there during my recent visit and 5 & 6 passed west of your house.

Yeah, you shoulda stayed around Jim, we got a pretty nice rain here in Alta/ Dutch Flat.
Temperatures here will bump into the low 90’s here this weekend- not too hot. Very few, if any (heck, I don’t know anyone) have air conditioning in Dutch Flat. A fan or two will usually suffice, and nights cool down nicely.
