Passenger Trains > And Then the Sky Kinda Blew Up

I figured it may be worth the wait for the late running train 20, and the sky proved my instinct correct. 
Amtrak Train 20 is approaching SEPTA's Holmesburg Station, throwing a little snow, as the sky
explodes in color, and a SEPTA Regional Rail train lurks way in the background.

Beautiful shot!  Would be nice to see this train with a proper dining car again one day.

Or at least a "Sleeper Lounge" in the form of a Viewliner II Diner, as like the Lake Shore Limited. I really can't believe it does not have the VII Diner as a sleeper lounge since it is a longer trip than the Lake Shore, which does have the VII Diner / Sleeper Lounge. The Crescent even had full dining car service with a Viewliner II Diner, which the Lake Shore never had! How things have changed between these two trains.........Not sure how the Crescent got downgraded so fast, but it should serve as a lesson.....

A lesson? Oh yeah, once Gardner takes over, more downgrades are coming!

Sorry, didn't mean to be a hater.  Awesome shot indeed.  I'm just disappointed that the Crescent looks like the Cardinal now when I thought the point of those fancy new Viewliner diners was to equip all of the eastern long distance trains including the Cardinal, and certainly the Crescent!
