5 - 1 hour and 44 mins late out of Chicago. "unforseen equipment swap" 364 - 2 hours and 11 mins late out of Chicago. "unforseen mechanical issues" 305 - 15 minutes late out of Chicago. "late yard release" 383 - 27 minutes late out of Chicago. "late yard release" 354 - 15 minutes late out of Chicago. No reason cited. 370 - 7 minutes late out of Chicago. 30 - 55 minutes late out of Chicago. "late release of equipment" 59 - 1 hour and 6 minutes late out of Chicago. "unforseen equipment swap" 48 - Declared as "will be a late departure" at 7:55pm. We will see how late it leaves Chicago. We all know that the wrong people are in charge of Amtrak and that many changes need to be made from the top on down.

Actually 7 minutes late is the magic number for a “lost train” that goes against managements initial terminal bonus. That’s the number that really matters.
