Eastbound Capitol Limited

Watched the puny #30 make an ontime station stop on the webcam last night in Elkhart, Indiana. Lost an hour at Cleveland and another 8 hours somewhere east of Cleveland. That's a massive delay. Its moving now. Anyone know the cause?

Overheated axle bearing on lone porpoise.  LAKE SHORE 48 lost 48 min setting off one of its 2 units for 30.
The rescue unit had to be moved over the Cleveland Line to Motor Yd where 30 set off the bad unit and picked up the rescue unit.

Looks like the train sat in Alliance.  There was probably something going on with the derailment clean up and 30 was held in Alliance until it was cleared to proceed.

Motor Yard is southeast of Cleveland, so I would suppose that a mechanical crew had to called to change the engines.  And the replacement engine would have to be ferried from the Amtrak Cleveland station to Motor Yard.
