Passenger Trains > Southwest Chiefs Blocked at TopekaDate: 03/17/23 05:28 Southwest Chiefs Blocked at Topeka Author: sfn2633 A disabled freight train west of Topeka is blocking No. 3 at Topeka and No. 4 at Osage City. So I do think my trip to the O Scale meet in Chicago with several buddies is off. No.4-15 has been an unlucky train considering the TopRock derailment and now this problem.

Don't know the name of the line, but yes. Meanwhile, 15 & 16 The Lone Star stopped at Topeka, but when they were discontinued, 3 & 4 began stopping at Topeka. Edited 1 time(s). One hour 22 minute flight!. Simple! Or just gas up the car..... Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/17/23 08:08 by ghemr. It 's a straight shot from KC westward that bypasses Lawrence and Topeka. Date: 03/17/23 09:14 Re: Southwest Chiefs Blocked at Topeka Author: jp1822 There's a bypass around Topeka from Kansas City to Emporia Junction. Would miss Topeka and Lawrence and there'd also have to be "pilot crew" from BNSF.....

Why am I reminded of a picture of Homer Simpson sitting in a recliner in his underwear with the quote "If something's hard to do, then it's not worth doing" by this?
